CHARGED in Stone Circle, Spring Equinox, Quartz crystals

On Saturday 21st 2026 we charged some clear quartz crystals in the main Callanish stone circle on the Isle of Lewis, Scotland.

There are 9 round crystals of natural clear quartz, engraved each with a golden lotus.

The exact timing of the astronomical spring equinox was in the afternoon on Friday, the 20th this year. Yet because this Celtic festivity called 'Ostara' is the coming in/activation of the water element, and this element according to the Celtic tradition is one that requires time "to flow into place" (opposite to the nature of fite which ignites immediately), it is said that usually the by the time of the following sunrise the activation would happen.

Callanish 1 (the main stone circle out of several in the surrounding landscape) is a rare example of an intact stone circle.

In front of the central pillar, on top of a stone on the ground I placed a pure copper offering bowl, I poured water into it which had been charged as well during sunrise in a separate bottle first. Inside the small bowl in the water were these lotus engraved crystals charging.

Copper is considered a premier conductor of energy—both electrical and thermal—due to its atomic structure, which allows for highly mobile free electrons and low resistivity. It has the second-highest electrical conductivity of any metal (behind only silver) and the highest thermal conductivity of all engineering metals. It is also used in several spiritual traditions around the the world like Buddhism & Hinduism for food, water etc. offerings in form of plates and vessels made of pure copper.

Sunrise is the time of the day when the most amount of energy floods the land, incoming with the sun.

The mechanism of stone circles attracts, "catches" and magnifies that energy which is rich in information related multiple things like the specific times of time year in the circle of life.

Clear quartz is like a natural battery, it soaks up energy from its surroundings, like energy and information in a stone circle, then stores, amplifies and releases it when you set an intention.

That comes partly from its piezoelectric effect: squeeze or tap it, and it generates tiny electric charges, turning mechanical stress into energy like a mini power converter. PS.

These were cleansed in water overnight before charging in the stone circle.

The items have not been prayed or spoken over.

Before, during and after the ritual inside the stone circle - Mother Nature, benevolent spirits, ancestors and spirits of the stones had been asked to charge the crystals for the good of all sentient beings.

After charging they have been in small bags, apart from shortly being taken out for logistics.
